Anyone attempting a raw animal foods diet should proceed with extreme caution as life long health complications and even death can result if contaminated food is ingested.  In fact I no longer recommend it.  While I no longer endorse a raw diet I am leaving this page as an informational resource about raw diets.

"I decided on the spot to change my diet. No more cooked food. No beer or alcohol, no coffee, no sugar, no salt, none of all the other inappropriate foods I had been eating and drinking. At present one-third of the world's population is starving. If we all became vegetarians, we would have no use for, and would stop farming, all the land that will support only food animals. But taking all the land that supports food animals, but cannot support arable farming, out of production is hardly likely to ease the problem. Within three days she was complete well.
